An issue:

Lowering the Drinking Age:
People that agree: Why is it that you can put your life in danger and risk everything in life by going into the army at the young age of 18 but, you can’t have a drink of alcohol? Why is it that you can also put your life and hundreds of other people’s lives in danger at the age of 16 when you are able to drive a car but you can’t touch any kind of alcohol? Is that any different? You are putting your life in danger when you’re drinking but you’re also doing it with other things. Lowering the drinking age to 18 would be a reasonable idea because you are an adult. When reaching the age of 18 you are able to do just about anything but drink. If you can live on your own and take care of yourself, you should be allowed to drink.

People that disagree: The people that disagree mainly have that problem because of the drinking and driving issue. They think that lowering the drinking age will give the right to teenagers to drink which would cause problems. They think that people at the age of 18 still are not responsible enough to make the right choices. Children at a young age take advantage of things and lowering the drinking age could cause a number of deaths because of drinking and driving.
There are ways to argue both cases.
