Halloween:

I am going to say right now that I can not stand Halloween. I really do not understand it at all. Little children dressing up as scary things and then getting candy? I do have a few memories. So mom used to have a huge Halloween which caused a lot of people at my house that I didn't really like. Such as my mothers 'girlfriends'. Oh joy. Anyways, the party wasn't bad because we would have cool games like apple swimming. And there would always be good food and candy. And since we don't have it anymore, it makes me miss everyone getting together. I always dressed up as things that I wanted to be (it always changed). My mom made it clear that we were never to dress up like something scary like a goast or witch. She didn't like it for some reason. Halloween is just pointless though. You send little kids (sometimes out on there own) to go door to door to people they don't know, for candy that they probably don't ever eat. This could cause your child to be rapped or abducted. Then you are letting people you don't know at all to give your child candy. You do not know where it has been or who its been with. So that could cause your child to eat something gross that may make them sick. Good parenting.
